The Gamestop website is fucking trash. It NEVER works for me, sale or no sale. Try using your phone or something to submit the order, because that's the only way that ever works for me.Fragems wrote:They have inventory issues with their online sales. What's worse is that I tried to order via Paypal instead, and while it reflects the charge on Paypal, it still goofs on GameStop's website. Very, very frustrating.. Had it happened a few times in the past. You can fiddle around taking stuff out of the cart 1 item at a time till the order goes through but it can be really really tricky especially if multiple items are causing the issue.
They give you a number to call when it breaks you might be able to call and get them to manually push it. I've never tried calling though so I have no idea what the process is. They might be able to check if an item is out of stock yet still being listed as available though.

Haha, that's how I originally tried to order them.PartridgeSenpai wrote:The Gamestop website is fucking trash. It NEVER works for me, sale or no sale. Try using your phone or something to submit the order, because that's the only way that ever works for me.
I think it's probably as Fragems says, they have two databases that aren't quite synced up, and it throws an error because one or more of the items in your cart are actually out of stock.
I still haven't gotten a response back, and honestly, I really don't care at this point. I'd cancel the order if I had anywhere to click to cancel it.

Re: Games Acquired 2017
February didn't have many purchases, I found myself working too much, but I did get a few good ones:
Genesis
TMNT The Hyperstone Heist
Light Crusader
Vita
Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel (Lionheart Edition)
Final Fantasy III (PSN)
With sales I made a single dollar this month, so my spending for the year is -$226.00.
Previous months:

TMNT The Hyperstone Heist
Light Crusader
Vita
Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel (Lionheart Edition)
Final Fantasy III (PSN)

February updates
Previous months:
February:
Pier Solar & The Great Architects Mega Drive - £31.49
N64 console - £51
Total: 1 game, 1 console: £82.49
Another quiet month, only one game purchased. IU also bought an N64 to get it modded. Man, some of the older consoles have shot up in price recently, huh?
Both of these months are a bit misleading though, because I've spent an awful lot of money on other stuff - I just don't list it until it actually arrives (been burned on that before!). Got an UltraHDMI mod being performed on my N64, got a framemeister on order, and of course the Switch is coming up too.

Re: Games Acquired 2017
Good grab on Pier Solar.
Just snagged Paper Mario: Color Splash for $32 from the local Dirt Cheap. Mostly sealed, just some cellophane tear at the corners. Opened it up to make sure all was in order, disc looks good, so I figure things will go well. Still a risk, given the no-return policy, but I'm usually willing to take it if it looks like it's still new. (And no stupid printed-label burned-DVD shenanigans! Gotta check carefully when a place sells returns!)
