appearantly this guy has done this for Bioshock as well. I find it very interesting, although the os is outdated, its still cool to see things like this. I may try this out on one of my spare hard drives just to see how difficult it is. Considering he has detailed instructions, I wouldnt think it would be too hard. You never know what problems you may have though.
Wow sorry guys. I was a bit tired last night I guess. Heres the link:

Nice that you told us "what guy" you're talking about.
Re: Crysis on Windows 2000.
I'm thinking the same thing. Can we have a link?

It's a shame that nobody even attempts to support Win2K, especially considering the fact that - to the best of my knowledge - it supports DirectX 9.0c. I actually prefer Win2K to WinXP.

Sorry about that guys I posted the link. At 2 in the morning I guess im not all that sharp (not that I am in the first place). Win2k supports the latest Direct X 9.0c runtimes and is also just about the same OS as Windows XP but even though it takes only about 20 minutes of editing to get it to work under it developers dont seem to bother anymore. I much prefer the old Windows logo too but thats me. All source games run under 2k without modifying though, which I think is cool.kevinski wrote:It's a shame that nobody even attempts to support Win2K, especially considering the fact that - to the best of my knowledge - it supports DirectX 9.0c.
