Confirmed with my Gamestop's manager, they are doing a ticketing system instead of madhouse line waiting. Come in between 1800 and 2200, to finalize your order, then come back at 2330 to stand in line. So this will workout well for me - I can get a full day of work in before that and still make weekly gaming.

According to the store manager this is the district managers idea, so I would contact your Gamestops to see what they are doing.

Dang, ElkinFencer is horrified by how much you bought, you must have gone big!

Unfortunately, I don't think it's too hard to spend that myself. He's already said he bought extra Joycons.

So, lets say £300 for the Switch. £80 for extra joycons. £90 for Zelda special edition. £60 for a pro controller. Charging grip is £20.

That's what, £550 already. Add in Bomberman or an extra adapter something and there's your £600.

Yeah, I got pretty damn carried away...

- Switch Console
- Zelda (Switch)
- Zelda (Wii U)
- Bomberman R
- 1-2 Switch
- 2 additional Joycons (left and right)
- Joycon charging grip
- Pro Controller

I checked the order and bizarrely it does include the Wii U copy of Zelda I pre-ordered as well. Not sure why, as it's technically a separate order.

Oh, I mean, I'm spending more than that on Friday. It just always surprises me to see anyone approach my level of financial recklessness.

Same here and I've got a pile of stuff behind me ready to go once the ebay freebies roll back in next Month. N64 w/exp pack and a few extras, 15 games, an expensive usb flight yoke and more going up to cover the damages. :) That's how you got to do it. Give a little get a little.

I feel it's reckless going in with added fluff so it's just the Switch + Zelda + Bomberman for me and Isaac once it pops out shortly after.

Once I see a problem with it, I'll bite on a 128GB memory card probably through ebay(US seller) to pay the least. Since it will charge itself on the dock I don't think buying a charging grip or stand to do that makes much sense. If I need to play with someone the joycons popped off with get the job done.

I also bought a 128GB MicroSD card the other day that's not included in my above order.

Indecisiveness has painted me into a corner on this launch. It's either shoot from the hip and hope for an unreserved launch day unit or grab Zelda on the Wii U and wait for the price drop with a Mario or Splatoon pack-in game.

Is the unit's battery easily changeable or is it one of those "services" to which a stout premium is applied? Everything I'm seeing so far points to the latter, but keeps throwing in the caveat that they aren't completely sure of it.

I'm going to hold off on a Micro SD card for now. I don't download much digitally, so I figure that the 32 GB internal will last me for at least a little bit. It took me about a year and a half of fill up my Wii U's 32 GB internal storage. Hopefully I can find a decent sale on a 128 GB card.

All I'm getting is the Switch and Zelda. So somewhat fiscally irresponsible, 'cause I could get it on Wii U. But whatevs.

Ditto. I'm saving my financial irresponsibility for some purchases I'm planning later this year after I clean out the garage.
