At least Pikmin 3 is cheap now with its inclusion in Nintendo Selects.

Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
I love that this one single thread spans the entire life cycle of the WiiU.

Anyway, I just picked up Rodea Sky Soldier. I'm going to be posting a little bit more info about it in the Gamestop Good Bad and Ugly thread. Long story short: this is a must buy for collectors, and it's super affordable right now.

I know it's slightly off topic, but you did bring up Rodea.
Any of you ever tried out the 3DS release? I remember it being mixed on how people viewed it and then reviewed it. I saw some whine it wasn't the Wii release with its camera, but then again it's not the Wii it's a 3DS and doesn't have point and waggle play. It's not quite the WiiU game either but kind of close, so I'm not sure if it's good, mediocre and skippable, or crap. I keep seeing it like $10 or $15 complete used around here but never snap it up.

Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
Have you guys caught any retailers trying to push or phase out the Wii U anywhere yet? Wonder if I still have some obscure K-Mart's around. I'm hoping to score some deals when it happens, probably soon.
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
I've seen some good deals at Walmart. I got Shovel Knight for $7 a week or two ago. Just now I found out about Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, Yoshi's Woolly World, and Mario Party 10 (all with amiibos) for $20 each via Walmart.com in-store pickup.
I've heard stories around the internet about other games marked down to $7 at Walmart but it seems to vary greatly from store to store.

Yeah, so I hit up my Walmart today and didn't see any good deals yet.

I got a new copy of Wii Fit U (w/o balance board) for $3 there the other day. <shrug>
That's all I've seen...
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
I haven't found any good deals at Walmart on games yet, but they have started to mark down the Wii/Wii U accessories. I think the nunchucks and character controllers are down to $15 and $30, respectively. And one store I went to had the Pro controllers down to $37. I expect we'll probably be seeing more in the next month or so.

Are any of the 3rd party Pro Controllers any good? Some of them are significantly cheaper than the OEM model.
