IF this is believed to be true, MEGA SCORE Nintendo thank you very much.

The Nintendo Switch as you set it up as some initialization screens with very fine print. One piece of it says:

Your Nintendo Account contains your Nintendo eShop purchase history and current balance. By re-linking your Nintendo Account after initializing the console. It will be possible to redownload any software or DLC purchased using that account. (Software that has been discontinued may not be available for redownload in some cases.)

Score! Bring up the eshop, bring on the virtual console. I had some nice stuff I picked up on WiiU I lost when I tossed the system into the resale market to be done with it. F-Zero, Earthbound, Super Metroid, D&D Mystaria, and various others. This pleases me.

I'm conflicted about Friday. I'm salary now so I can just walk off and go grab my pick up at Best Buy, but it would kind of blow sitting here just letting it setup and run system updates. But the reality is I wouldn't have the games for awhile yet as I did Amazon unless they pop up a day early.

Friday is also the Louisville Arcade Expo, runs all weekend. As much as I love going once a year to play some pinball and arcade games for the afternoon for a flat fee my plans usually are to ditch Friday or cut early (it starts later at 2 that day) so I don't have to deal with waiting in line and if any goodies show up at the tables I can get them. Can't see this working out well this year. Can't bail early to get to the show if I bail to get the system. Also don't feel comfortable leaving an amazon box with 2 games on the doorstep either.

I may just bail on the show which annoys me, but I have an arcade cabinet now since the last and a pinball so I'm not lacking.

I'd just like to get cracking into Zelda and Bomberman, then Isaac when it arrives a week or two after.

Gamestop still claims they will have enough for every preorder, but I will still be getting there around 8pm (depending on the weather).

I figure 4 hours of waiting isnt that bad. My wife will be there for part of it. I can probably bang out the rest of Huck Finn in the remainder.

Let's hope Nintendo kept it's promises to bump up production.

I'm thinking they probably did, and perhaps in some way distribution is what is fouling up the NES Classic distro too. They perhaps didn't want to have 2 screw ups in a row.

Dang, ElkinFencer is horrified by how much you bought, you must have gone big!

Unfortunately, I don't think it's too hard to spend that myself. He's already said he bought extra Joycons.

So, lets say £300 for the Switch. £80 for extra joycons. £90 for Zelda special edition. £60 for a pro controller. Charging grip is £20.

That's what, £550 already. Add in Bomberman or an extra adapter something and there's your £600.
