I started Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo.
I am a little hesitant about starting it. I have played the game before in the Arcade and it can be absolutely brutal. Hopefully, the Playstation version makes it playable and its not insanely difficult. The computer would set up an insane combo and you would get buried before the match really even begins.
However, I do like the chibi art style and the many unlockables give it potential. I am going to delve deeper into it later, so hopefully I will enjoy it.
What are you playing?

You know, as much as I like Street Fighter, Capcom stuff, and falling block puzzle games, that one never really clicked with me.

I'm not trying to knock you specifically, but I see this "cycle" here all the time. People get excited about a new game, play it, and then get disappointed because it doesn't hold up compared to the classics.
If you want to find another great RPG like the Final Fantasy titles of yore, you're not going to get it out of modern Square Enix. Instead you need to head back in time and try out Romancing SaGa or Live A Live or Bahamut Lagoon or Treasure of the Rudras and so on...
Well, I'd rather try something to confirm myself than never try. And my loyalty remains for some franchises, maybe too much. Yet it's easy for me to distinguish Square Soft from Square Enix as something else entirely.
And you just never know when you might get a Doom 2016 case.

yeah I'm with Xeo. When it comes to certain franchises I'd rather know for myself even if it's not good. You should note that we're both Resident Evil fans.

Been fiddling around with some of the old Gold Box D&D games lately. Good times and the Gold Box Companion is quite useful on it. I'm only using it for the auto map and more easily seeing party health, not futzing around with enemy stats and such.

Re: What are you playing?
I managed to find a copy of Blood Bowl for the 360 the other day, to my great happiness, and I gave it a go to make sure it works yesterday, and it plays really well!
It's a little weird having only the base 8 teams, but that's really all you need (and they're the only teams I ever play anything out of). I have a team of Chaos called The Wrecking Balls! Honestly, while I do love Chaos, I didn't realize Lizardmen were in the game, and really would've picked them if I'd known they were there (since they're the best race, imo). My favorite feature, which I have no idea why the PC version doesn't have, is you can SPEED UP THE AI TURNS!!! 2, 4, or 8 times faster, so games take like 33% less time, meaning games are like half an hour to 45 minutes instead of an hour to an hour and a half. SO nice.

I started (and got halfway through) the campaign for Halo Wars 2 last night. I know that I'm like the only person here who cares about it, but it's so much fun. I LOVE it.
That's a fantastic game.

Even as someone who's not that into 2nd gen stuff, I have a soft spot for that one. It's pretty fun.
