I never saw this commercial, but it reminded me so much of the commercial for the WCW/NWO Uncensored wrestling pay per view from 1998, then I scrolled down to the comments, I wasn't the only one!

N64 - Change the System/SM64 spot. Now this is a pretty neat commercial. Never saw it before but it's interesting to say the least since it's kinda similar to some of the original Toon Disney commercials from back in the day...miss that channel

I think it's time we revived this thread about our favorite video game commercials across console generations. We all know the persuasiveness of a good ad campaign for video games. Some are outlandish and over-the-top. Some are realistic or shot with live-action. Others may portray the actual game, be it setting, highlights, and graphics. So if you think back to the commercials that showcased upcoming games, what are some of your favorites?

Mine personally is:
We Are ODST. A Live-action commercial that is awesome in all meaning of the word. I simply loved how they did this one, captured the atmosphere and made the life of an ODST believable and realistic. The narrative is awesome and I can remember shouting at the TV about how awesome the commercial was. And, probably for that reason, ODST has a warm spot in my heart.

A close second, is the Believe Campaign for Halo 3. I loved the details in this commercial, and think it's beautifully done.
