Is that one not good? I'm a huge Onimusha fan... but never got around to that one. Not sure what they were thinking with FFT Onimusha. I think everyone but you must have forgotten about that one, never ever hear anything about it.

Onimusha Tactics isn't terrible or anything, it's just an uninspired isometric SRPG is all, 6/10 material. Of all the series to convert into that style of game, why Onimusha? (Then again, mixing Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition into one is even more WTF. )

I'd go with any NIS SRPG with Disgaea 2 being my favorite. Saiyuki is HIGHLY underrated and a great little SRPG. Perfect test for the genre.

I'd also like to add some Vandal Hearts 2. It deserves at least a mention.

My unpopular opinion is mobile games have progressed 10x more than consoles in the past 10 years or so. It seems next gen consoles care about games being pretty rather than any sustenance. My evidence being look how long PS2 stories/campaigns were (Resident evil 4, Prince of Persia) and now look at em.

Plus look at how much mobile games have developed, they now run ports of PS2 games with little problems. Give it time before mobile replaces console alltogether
