I Hate eBay

Post by andymol21 »

Grrrrrr,
Every single time I go on eBay, I buy something. It's like a nervous habit. I see a Gamecube game for £10 less than I see it in Gamestation or wherever and put in a bid one above the current and BAM, I now own that game. I don't even really want them. Here's a list of the games and the prices I got them for recently:

Paper Mario Thousand Year Door: £20
Ikaruga: £11
Mario Kart Double Dash & Sonic Mega Collection: £17
Puyo Pop Fever & FF Crystal Chronicles : £13
Legend Of Zelda OOT Master Quest: £5
Night into Dreams NTSC (Saturn) (Boxed, complete with 3D controller and sealed game): £10 (Ok I admit that was a pretty good bargain)
Gameboy Player & Disk: £12

Too, much, stuff!! Still, I'm glad that I have them now. But my wallet is taking a mighty hit this month.

Anyone else like this? I think I'm addicted.

I share your pain, man. I've gotten better, but I use to be really bad with eBay. I do however have an awesome game collection, but I never seem to have any money.

good deal on Ikaruga and others.
I try to never to use the bay. I am a yard sale person.
if you get deals keep buying you will find money somewhere.
your not like most people, most people see Final Fantasy 7 for $70 bin and just by it. at lest you see a good deal and jump on it.

Ebay is very addictive. I used to get to a point where I was always waiting to see how my bids were doing on various items and looking forward to stuff to arrive. My college budget has slimmed lately, so I can't really afford to do that now.

It was the Paper Mario that sparked me too write this. I just put in a bid at £18 thinking I'd be outbid... No one else wanted it I guess.

My new motto, you've got to be in it to win it... Only bid on what I want.

Still, got 3 that I'm bidding on right now, and I just can't stop looking for more!!!

Hmm, I picked up Paper Mario last night as well, granted it was the N64 version. Ended up making 2 other purchases after that though. Damnit...........
