Switch Discussion Thread
Re: Switch Discussion Thread
I'm not taking any time off until I have it in my hands. Been burned by many a late preorder in the past.

Re: Switch Discussion Thread
Since my gamestop is in a stripmall, I am hoping that they are doing a midnight launch. They said they would know today, so I am going by after work tonight. Still debating on dropping the Bomberman preorder, but no one has confirmed that a digital version is coming.

And I have seen that list, and knowing that I'm right here on this.
Please view that link in my post at the end if you're looking for the best card for the cash/read & write speeds. I know I posted it before, but seeing the 32GB DQH1+2 I think it's even more meaningful. $40 for a 128GB card may not be such a bad idea or popping $70 for the 200GB ($140 currently for the just out right now 256GB Evo+ from samsung.)
I'm waffling between the 64 and 128GB. I like to own games I pay for so I don't need a huge amount since downloading won't be much. Even then I wonder just how large some of the updates, patches, or system updates growing the firmware could eat it up.Read the following page this is up to date other than the just now released 256GB cards for around $150 on amazon. The suggestion is that the fastest read and write across the board is the Samsung Evo+ line of cards and the 64GB is noted specifically though the 128 performs as admirably well.http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-microsd-card/

Re: Switch Discussion Thread
I took off the day that Fallout 4 came out, but since the Switch comes out on a Friday and UPS won't deliver until mid day anyway, I'm just gonna go to work. And it's my roommate's birthday, so he'd kill me if I bailed on our every Friday Mexican food ritual.

Re: Switch Discussion Thread
Preorder dollars shifted to Arms.
An old friend of mine got a chance to play it at a Switch event recently. He had a console preorder and went in thinking he would probably flip the console but came out hard on the Switch train. Of all the games he got to play the one that really surprised him was Arms. He said the same thing alot of people have been saying - that it is pretty much VO but with fixed character lock on and long attack animations. That said we are all very interested to how the non-motion control controls are going to work out.

Binding of Isaac physical (not sure about download) release was delayed a couple weeks into March. Why?
They decided to add a physical instruction manual into the package being the big thing. It's 20 pages long, cut to match the size of a NES manual. Better yet they also aped the format, the page layout, even the pencil/water color type art style of the manuals back then as well. There's a few sample pages online and it's dripping with NEStalgia.
