It is frustrating when people do use the, "Question everything," stance exclude the things that line up with their personal beliefs. Not saying the folks currently saying it are doing that, but just an observation in my time

By question, I mean challenge your assumptions, and make sure you know what you believe, why you believe it, and can back it up. Don't just accept it because it aligns with your worldview.

That's a very healthy view to have, one I try to practice regularly. That said, when expressed as "question everything," it can communicate a different message to some people.

WEEEEEEEEE! So maybe this was why Trump was sued?
