Update: lucked out on my 3rd summoning session and got the 5 star archer, Takumi. He is top tier for sure, ridiculous. I think best Grey hero. It helps that one of my first 4 stars is Cordelia, she is also good. Want to upgrade her to 5 star when I have enough feathers and emblems.
Arena is very doable (been sticking to Intermediate tier 2 or so), but I really do think you guys are underestimating 5 stars. It makes a big difference from even 4 stars.
Greets to you guys!

They updated with a mini campaign and set of heroes to unlock. Already beat it through lunatic and am just a single orb away from seeing what I get from the new cast.

Yeah I am excited to see an update so soon after launch.
Re: Fire Emblem Heroes Mobile: Opinions, tips and strategies
Just got lucky and summoned a 5-star Seliph. Not real enthused by his speed stat, but he's got a Rally Speed move that increases the speed of adjacent units after an attack, and he's also got a followup attack move when your HP is under a certain percentage. Will be interesting to see if I can integrate him into the team, it makes me a little red-heavy with my 5-star Tiki.

How do you guys summon? I did it I think 2 full times and 2 partly. I did all 5 but as I lucked out and got Takumi.
I'm not sure it is worth spending orbs on Grey slots. Maybe it would be cool to have a Cavalry healer though, currently using a 4-star Serra which is Infantry.
Also have a 4-star Ninja already but don't use her much.

Yeah if you have a healer, takumi and a ninja you don't need to invest much in greys I wouldn't think. I still grab all 5 when I accumulate 20 orbs though just to see what I get. Don't forget to link your nintendo account and claim your 10 free orbs by the way.Ivo wrote:How do you guys summon? I did it I think 2 full times and 2 partly. Yeah, I always summon five at once. More efficient that way. I suspect I'll end up putting the whole thing down when I run out of efficient ways to get orbs.

I have currently hit that moment. I want to level up my two other teams and do some organizing to get the best combo and then will be pretty radio silent until new stuff comes out. I will grab the daily stuff and all still.Sarge wrote:Yeah, I always summon five at once. More efficient that way. beat the new side quests (Normal and Hard) and am now going back and playing the story quests on Hard. I really think this is just a great game. So much kudos to Nintendo on this one.

Of all the franchises nintendo could have brought over, Fire Emblem seems to be the most obvious choice. Also, the mobile platform is suiting Nintendo's style quite nicely. It isn't a beefy substantial game, but one meant to be played a little at a time and has those little Nintendo moments that are completely unnecessary, but is a fun feature like your friends sending a hero to visit you.noiseredux wrote:beat the new side quests (Normal and Hard) and am now going back and playing the story quests on Hard. I am very curious to see what they will do with animal crossing. I am sure it will focus heavily on the social networking aspect with friends, but it still is a big question mark... more so than Fire Emblem.
