2017 Gaming goals and resolutions

Ar Tonelico - I've been listening to the soundtracks for 2 and 3 for almost a year, and have never played it. I think I won't like the games, but I'm gonna play them anyway.

And actually platinum Deception IV Blood Ties and Nightmare Princess so I can be one of the 5 people outside of Japan who have actually done that.

And buy both a Playstation Pro and a Playstation VR! Maybe I can start giving blood and get two more jobs so that I can actually afford that

Complete two more sub-sets of Atari 2600 games.

This one is down. Mr. Do! competed my collection of Atari 2600 Coleco games, and I picked up the "number label" versions of Air Sea Battle and Star Ship to knock out my Atari 2600 number label collection.

1. Complete my Fire Emblem collection. I still need the Famicom original, Thracia 776, Binding Blade, and the Japan-exclusive DS one.

I'm close with this one! I only need Binding Blade and New Mystery of the Emblem.

5. Have a zero balance on my Amazon and SECU credit cards at literally any point during the year.

I'm actually pretty close with this one. I should have my Amazon card paid off next month, and I'm on track to have my SECU card paid off by summer.

I haven't even started one yet this year, but that's ok, it's only mid-February.

Try to wrap up the final SNES fighters.

The main goal I have for 2017 is to get under 100 Unfinished Games. I am currently at 101, so I don't think it will be that hard. However, the hard part will be staying under 100 from now on. It would be so easy to just buy a few more and completely ruin it.

And just because, let's add some specific goals for each console:

1. NES = Beat Castlevania 3
2. GEN = Beat a Season as Coach in Tecmo Super Bowl
3. SNES = Beat Final Fantasy V
4. N64 = Beat Conker's Bad Fur Day
5. DC = Beat Skies of Arcadia
6. PS1 = Buy A New Game
7. PS2 = Beat Xenosaga
8. GCN = Beat Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
9. XBOX = Complete Crimson Skies

Wow, I have actually done a lot of these already.

Getting under 100 Unfinished Games was done rather early this year. I just did Castlevania III and I did Crimson Skies earlier this month.

I'm working on Conker and Xenosaga at the moment, so they will be done too.

Finish Arcade TV stand and digital Pinball Machine

- FFVII completed.
- Finish Kings Quest Series - KQ7 installed, 8 is bought.
- Finish Steel Battalion - xbox is still in storage
- Finish Arcade TV stand and digital Pinball Machine - First run TV stand built, redesiging for second. Planning on making it with drawers so I can store the bulk of the collection in it. Ordered a CP holder for the built stand last night. Going to convert the Astro to a 2l12b setup for MVC3 and and make the first TV stand a 2l6b for verts.

I need to play Crimson Skies. I've had it for several years since a college roommate suggested it, but I have yet to play it.

Probably the best flight game I have ever played. It is a perfect mix of arcade action and in depth game play.

It has blown the Rogue Squadron games out of the water. I highly suggest it as well!

Well it's only February, but since everybody is updating...

Exhuminator's 2017 gaming goals:

1. Get off my ass and get the new dork cave setup and fully functional.
(I've actually made some real progress on this, my goal is to have it done by March 17th.)

2. Beat Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together.
(Haven't touched this yet.)

3. Beat Demon's Souls.
(Haven't touched this yet, but I plan for it to be the very first console game I play once goal #1 is done.

4. Finish all the DS-based Ace Attorney games.
(Was working on AA3, but it bored me away. Gotta get back to it.)

5. Beat at least five Vita games.
(I've beaten 1 so far this year, that's a start.)
