I watched that video clip, a fake news comedy show. Ridiculing other fake news with his own fake news does not make it real news. The rain video edit just like the crowd size a desperate attack. Editing in a cowboy commercial for false judgement just to push laughs. The President takes time thru reading tweets and watching TV comes across to me as not isolating himself to just inside briefings. Every president does that which should be expected.

Let's take on that Breitbart Planned Parenthood headline that he ridicules without discussing. Obvious the comedian does not know anything about Margaret Sanger and Eugenics. Concerning the voter fraud accusation, it does happen and we just do not know to what extent. Look back a few pages on the Arizona women arrest, google will bring in more legit arrest stories.

Franky that comedian should attack the Truth and Lies of the News Media and not the President, but that truth would not help his show. British comedy, entertaining and just another bloody opinion.

I slugged thru all twenty some minutes of it, I challenge those who watched the comedy show to do the same and watch my clips below with a retort.

Oh there is no doubt we already have import and home brew terrorists which are multiplying. How far are we willing to go thru the vetting, prisoner questioning, and giving up privacy to protect citizens and migrants in our nation?

It is not a question of what religion is important, perception of the "accepted norm" or what each of us believe in. Not all conservatives are Christians as the left assumes. A religious belief does not correlate with all views to a given left or right side opinion, ridiculous to categorize as such.

Good, you passed the first test. The rest of your response is ultimately irrelevant, because in truth the real question was "Are you willing to perform acts of torture on individuals whose views are similar to your own if for some reason their actions threaten you?"

Second question: if engaging in torture on an individual known to possess vital information does not result in the unveiling of that information, are you then willing to take the next vital step and make them watch as you torture those nearest to them? Are you willing to torture their friends, their families, their spouses and children if it will prevent any killing of innocents?

I threw back in the religious statement in the Quote in response to your earlier statement, to point out the misconception many tie to party affiliation.

As to your second question No, of course not. Are you alluding the President would go beyond Waterboarding to that extreme? Your question maybe inspired from a movie, cannot remember the title. Dragging an emotional take of torture does not cover the harsh reality of innocents killed thru beheadings and suicide attacks. As mentioned earlier, water boarding and not more cruel torture should be the last step.

I'll throw the question back at you. How far would you go knowing your kid has a limited time stuck in a well or in an air filled box. Go ahead and find the movie reference for that too, hypothetical to the argument. What would you as a parent do to save your child, I imagine as in most parents almost anything.

Why then allow a half measure of torture if you are not willing to see it through and do what is necessary to ensure the saving of American lives? Either go all in or not at all, but don't half-ass and think you are keeping America "safe."

As for your hypothetical, it bares no scrutiny because I do not have children. Also I resent your argument that I am pulling questions from film. Do not attempt to downplay the darker sides of that which you attempt to justify just because it makes you squeamish to realize how far down the hole you will be forced to go.

Apologies, I should not have misjudged the movie take. That stated, instead of your own child; any close brother of parent, how far would you go?

Not that you intended to by the family question, but it does steer away the attention of why at extreme times water boarding might be needed as a last resort.

A refocus repeat of why Waterboarding should be allowed in extreme circumstances
The President has stated waterboarding and would not go further. However, he backs his Defense Secretary on not using Water Boarding. The other countries do far worse and chop heads off not for information extraction, but just to arrogantly prove their power showing their celebration on social media. The U.S. has used torture in the past not for retaliation, but to prevent such horror. No human should suffer, but the cowards have drawn the line for decades attacking the innocent; torture may be necessary. If less subtle methods do not extract information to save lives, I feel water boarding should be used as a final option to protect from future attacks. I threw in the thought how far we are willing to go that few could answer including myself until exposed to extreme circumstances. Preventing a possible future attack of course does not dictate torturing a criminal's relatives. I do not think anything should push to that extreme to save lives of people we do not know.

However, in that extreme would I allow torture of the criminal's family to save my own? As you alluded by not having children; an answer not known unless personally backed against the wall. I do stand by that most parents will do almost anything to bring their own child home.

Forget the nuclear option for the moment, the explosions yesterday were phenomenal. Chris Wallace confronts anyone he interviews for counterpoint rebuttal. Some that get interviewed get choked up on a decent retort, but not Stephen Miller! He brought this same message to all the networks at Fox, NBC, CNN, etc and tore them all up! Loved seeing Chuck Todd shut down!

I just watched the 3rd link you posted with Stephen Miller and when asked for facts/proof he said repeatedly "its widely known" and the most common answer was "ask anyone" "everyone is aware". More vague statements instead of facts and evidence.

I know he does say that he would talk in private more about this issue if facts are needed. The banter continued for two minutes after that where he could have easily given one piece of evidence to counter the academic research that says otherwise.
