From the latest rumor/leak, it looks like my original guess of Switch support for 1080p60 or 2160p30 was right even though the system software currently locks it to 1080p60.

Is it true that all games are getting physical and digital releases, or is that still just a rumor?

If it is true, Bomberman and PuyoxTetris preorders are being dropped. Those are games that will get enough play that there is no reason to not have them with me.

I would be EXTRAORDINARILY surprised if every game got a physical release, and I'd legit bet a kidney that's not the case.

As for Bomberman and Puyo Puyo Tetris, I've not heard anything about canceled pre-orders. Might be a retailer specific thing - Gamestop's got a bad habit of selling more pre-orders than they get, and they've done it before with the Switch.

If so I am canceling my preorders on Bomberman and PuyoxTetris since we will play them alot. I may cancel Mario Kart as well.

Ohhhh. That's the other way around; I'd be surprised if there were physical releases that DIDN'T get digital releases.

128gig microsd are $40 currently. Assuming that the those games are in the sub 10gig range (rumor is that is the size of Switch carts is 16gigs - though I highly doubt PuyoxTetris or Bomberman are bigger than 2gigs), then I will still not fill the card up for a long time. Better yet, by the time I do, 256gig cards will have dropped in price. I wont go full digital, but for me the ability to have my favorite party games in the console at all times far supersedes any issue with "renting" an downloaded title.

Bomberman DS was a staple at convention meetups when those were a thing, so it is a no brainier to buy the copy that I will always have with me. Not to mention, Saturn Bomberman is still a draw.

Very true they should be small games that's a relief, also good thing the cards are pretty decent prices.

unfortunately I backed out of my order simply because theres not enough software vs what I'll be spending at launch so I rather get a bunch of PS4 games instead tbh. Once No More Heroes and Mario pop up I'll see how I'll fell.
