Congrats! I am curious to know what they do next. I feel like judging the story based on what we have experienced now is folly. Sure it is cheesy, but it feels like the prologue to the story. We will see.

I am just about to beat the campaign in lunatic mode with a team almost level cap.

@Sarge who is your green knight guy?
My go to right now is Gunter, but he really needs other cavalry to be super effective. He is in my main team with all the skills unlocked for hum. My backup team I am working on now is mostly cavalry so they will definitely benefit with him in the team as he gives HUGE buffs to cavalry members just by being around him.

Hmm... *checks phone*

It's Beruka.

Right now, I'm just happy at getting some folks that will help with 9-4, 'cause having Cain in that battle is a real detriment at this point. He was ridiculously overpowered, because he got a guaranteed double-strike if initiating combat, but his growth curve has been terrible, with almost no speed and crap defense to boot.

How many people here have legit beat the campaign without any IAP?

I'm about to. I've hit a few choke points, but it's nothing waiting a few days and trying for a new summon won't help. Plus, that 5-star Tiki has pulled me through quite a few battles I'd have otherwise lost.

Honestly, I think the real money pull is when you're going for the Hard Mode stuff. That's when crap is gonna get real. I suspect I won't play beyond that... but it does have me hankering for finishing a "real" Fire Emblem. I should just put some sort of cheat in to disable permadeath, as much as I hate the idea of cheating a game.

Either that, or play Awakening.

In addition, the three versions of Fire Emblem Fates also allow you to turn permadeath off.

But only wussies do that. :P

I have not spent a dime on this, and cleared the campaign on normal. I imagine few people are spending money simply to do that.

Higher difficulties or later missions might end up being unlikely without cultivating high tier characters though.

About to beat the campaign on lunatic mode, which is the highest difficulty and I have not spent a single dime.

SUPER PRO TIP for those playing. Your number one focus should be on completing your quests. There are three tiers of quests and you have to complete all of the first tier before seeing the next. You could possibly be completing stuff on the second or third tier without even knowing because you didn't finish that one quest in the first tier.
