Should I take it? (SMS and Games)

Post by slowslow325 »

I was just offered a SMS with cords in good condition, 2 controllers, a light phaser, Alf, Altered Beast, Hang On/Astro Warrior, Hang On/ Safari Hunt, Operation Wolf, Rampage, and The Ninja for $50. How much is this all worth? Should I take it?

It's an SMS 1 by the way with the built in maze game.

Most master systems I've seen go for around $40+ so I'd say that's a pretty good deal. Do the games come with cases or are they loose?

IMO its not a bad deal. If you want to play Master System you won't be getting ripped off lets put it that way. The controllers and phazer make it that much better.

I second that its an acceptable deal. I would try to get it just a bit cheaper... but if the seller is firm and you want to get into SMS its a good start.

They are with case and some of them have manuals. He found a couple other games in his basement, he's going to throw in. I'm going to take it.

I've personally never seen a master system in the wild. I know different areas have more availability. Like, pullmyfinger, don't you have several on your blog? I'm not personally into that generation of system, but that seems fair for a system that you're buying from someone else.
