That's not bad. I recently had an egg run of a couple machops of which I kept the best and candied the rest (I think, maybe kept one) so I have a Machoke now that's somewhat close in CP to your Machamp. I also finally got a non-trashy geodude and I'm a couple candies off from Graveler.

I don't recall what level I am, but I play a little each day to get probably 10+ caught and a few stops to get the daily bonuses. I'll take a gym when it has an empty spot or looks weak or fast to level. Unlike the whole run which was day one to a month ago when I got my first expansion, in a matter of 4-6 weeks I'm already 180 to the 200coin limit so I can get more storage yet again which is nice.

I've been perking up my Charizard, he's #2 on the list not far below my big Snorlax but he'll cost 4500 dust now to jack up another spot if it's not already maxed (if not I probably have 1 left until I rank up.) Just him and the Snorlax are my only two over the 2000cp mark.

Also noticed recently they like doubled the starbucks spots with the pokestops/gyms on them. Before they didn't include in store kiosks, but they are now as the Kroger up the street and the Target's around here have them too which didn't before.

Yes, they've expanded to more Starbucks locations, including many inside other stores. I kind of find it funny how I got a "critical hit" stop (the one with extra items/100xp) at a Boost Mobile the other day.

The Machamp has very nice CP but Stone Edge as its charge move. Good for offense, not so much for defense (single meter and no STAB) Right now I'm walking Abra because I'd love an Alakazam real soon.

My gyms have stayed steady for the most part since the end of last year, which is great because I'm doing a lot of moving for more Gen 2's and other stuff. I'll still try to do as you do, attack the weak rival gyms and train at the easier locations that have good high levels, it saves on items that way, especially revives.

So, I leave this game open at work and in the car, but I really don't interact with it that much. The game just doesn't have enough depth or a deep enough reward cycle or something to keep me interacting with it more actively or intently. They've got to do more than double XP/coins and altered Mon frequency events. There needs to be a stronger play element to the game. I'm trying to figure out what my countdown is for getting out of the game altogether. After this much time invested I'll be sorry to leave, but there isn't much to get me to stay other than sunk costs.

They need to stop pussyfootin' around and put in the Gen2 monsters and finally for god sakes fix the variety issue once and for all. I'm still stuck with probably 20-30 I've never caught let alone seen (including the other global region couple) and it's quite pissing me off really. I know much of the are in eggs, but when I keep popping eggs and most the time they're the common filth that show up every 10 seconds you're walking it gets pretty degrading.

I do it, but I don't play it constantly. When I'm out in the car I'll flip it open at stops/waits to turns to nail a stop or grab something that appears, but I no longer go out of my way consciously driving to the mall or another place I know with a long row of stops to keep my supplies fresh or find things.

The winter event with the incubator a day I liked that, but finally seeing charmanders in the wild (more than 2x before then) and the other guys for that week stretch really got to me and made me keep it open killing the battery enough times.

They need weekly events, enough said
They need to fix the variety problem
They need to add Gen2 as well (as if there aren't enough Gens anyway, not going to run out anytime soon.)
They need to keep their promise of the coming soon trading, where is it?! (My wife has a wicked Lapras and a few others she'll trade me pidgeys for since she gave up already.)

I finally caught a Snorlax on Friday.
I'm going to crack a lucky egg in a moment and start a mass evolution. I have fifty-one pokemon to evolve all at once.
I just caught my four hundredth Magikarp. You know what that means.

I've found probably 10 or less magikarp since it came out and the only reason I have a gyardos is I caught a wild one which was stunning to see months ago. It has the crappy twister hard hit attack but it has a strong body and HP, and is in my top 3 as far as CP goes as it's over 2K and the arc is not near maxed out either.

I'm still in 15 gyms, my bag is near full with tons of potions and revives, and my 'dex is nearly complete. I can buy incubators whenever I want without having to make any in app purchases, and I'm getting closer to level 30.

I still play, but I agree something new needs to be done.

The political arena has had a severe blow on my pokemon go playing. Just don't see the need to play thanks to winter and the ever expanding sense of doom.

I forgot to mention, walking and working hard to get a 100 candy Pokémon evolved and having it get one of the worst moveset combinations ever -

Alakazam with Confusion/Dazzling Gleam

(in all honesty, even my Machamp with Karate Chop/Stone Edge is somewhat useful as a defender)
