Ok, I'm confused at where to post things...like I'm seeing a lot of stuff in here that I thought I should be posting in a different forum? Like what warrants "retro-gaming news" is that just for general gaming questions not specific to a console or company?

That's more like specific news concerning retro games. Sometimes it may slip into a different forum, such as Whatever, or into the specific developer forum, but that's ok.

Ok..so where would I ask about like..getting started into "collecting" and how far I wanna go back?

If you are looking to get into a specific system, post under that heading (sega, nintendo, etc.) If its general just post it in whatever.

Put it this way...if your wondering what games you want or whats worth getting...post under that system, thats where all the fanboys live at...like myself lol. Those areas tend to be the most help, if you have a question about selling an item...buy sell trade...if you have just random crap to say/show...whatever....so forth so on ":)
