So, folks, two things:

Jordan Peele's horror movie Get Out comes out soon.

And also...

The Last Jedi

Should we panic on public media or something? That seems to be what you're supposed to do. Or...?

I realize she may have been at her peak career before some of us were born, but Mary Tyler Moore died today.

Saw La La Land last weekend. I really enjoyed it. It's like a love-letter to classic musical cinema in a modern setting with a dash of fantastical elements.

I wasn't sure how I was going to react to Stone and Gosling singing and dancing, but they turned out to be very impressive (Stone more than Gosling. His dancing was a tad stiff.)

I wouldn't say that I was blown away by any one thing in particular, but all the various elements (singing, dancing, romance, comedy, melodrama...) are stitched together so well that it made for a very enjoyable experience.

Sure, his dancing wasn't as amazing, but what should impress you is that Gosling learned how to play the piano just for the movie. All of that is actually him.

I also enjoyed La La Land quite a bit.

It's not as bad as critics made it out to be, but it's not among the best of PKD adaptations either.
