I don't think that this is a valid response. TSTR made a valid point regarding a group's methods, and the fact that some people in the group belong to minority communities does not place their methods above criticism. Likewise, the fact that the person making a critique is a white male does not make his criticism invalid.

More people should read your statement. The double standard is nuts, sadly the behavior is as the norm. Some even think it is okay to put down their own race in a pitiful attempt to prove they are not Racists!

DNC Chair Candidates Lambaste White People During Forum
White people were the subject of much criticism during the Democratic National Committee Chair Candidates Forum Monday in Washington, D.C., with one candidate saying that Democrats need to teach Americans “how to shut their mouths if they are white.” The candidates were there to discuss what went wrong in 2016 and how they can fix it going forward. Early on, many of the candidates targeted political consultancies owned by white people as one of the reasons for the Democratic Party’s poor showing in November.

Sally Boynton Brown, the executive director of Idaho’s Democratic Party, said Democrats need to offer “training” that teaches Americans “how to be sensitive and how to shut their mouths if they are white.” When asked how the party should handle the Black Lives Matter movement, Brown said the activists must be embraced. “It makes me sad that we’re even having that conversation and that tells me that white leaders in our party have failed,” she said. “I’m a white woman, I don’t get it. … My job is to listen and be a voice and shut other white people down when they want to interrupt. This is life and death” she continued. “I am a human being trying to do good work and I can’t do it without y’all. So please, please, please, get ahold of me Sally at we-the-dnc.org. I need schooling so I can go school the other white people.”

And Trump has put the gag on the EPA and other science research divisions within the Federal government. This is the antithesis of responsible governance. Fortunately, the FOIA still exists. I hope journalists and other interested parties make heavy use of it in light of Trump's determination to silence any information that doesn't come directly from him. And given his record on dealing with facts... well, it'll be a fun ride trying to determine what's going on.

I'm at issue too over the gag order, though it is ethical in putting the reminder to the existing Hatch Policy out. Should information be put out by the different agencies thru Social Media or should they follow chain of the command protocol? The Social Media clamp down to prevent unauthorized leaks as the President is cracking down hard on all the regulations. This is nothing new, Businesses do not allow employees talking freely on the inner workings of their companies; this has been the policy in the Government as well. In the Military one cannot engage in political activities due to the conflict of interest, the same applies for Government employees in many key positions. However, the Public does have a right to know. The FOIA a great control route to prevent over hyped outbursts as changes are happening.

Government Employees who use Social Media to vent their frustrations can also be a good thing to weed out bad apples. This Secret Service Agent should be fired both for not allegiant to her critical job and for just being plain stupid.

A senior U.S. Secret Service agent posted Facebook condemnations of President Trump during the past seven months, including one in which she said she wouldn't want to "take a bullet" for him.Despite her senior security role, she has made her disdain for Trump and his incoming administration clear to her Facebook followers, who included current and former Secret Service agents and other people who were employees at the time of the posts. O'Grady's posts triggered at least one complaint to the office that oversees investigations into Secret Service misbehavior, two knowledgeable sources told the Washington Examiner.

In the same post, she mentioned the Hatch Act, which bars executive branch staff, except the president, vice president and some other senior executive officials, from engaging in certain political activities. "As a public servant for nearly 23 years, I struggle not to violate the Hatch Act. So I keep quiet and skirt the median," she wrote. "To do otherwise can be a criminal offense for those in my position. Despite the fact that I am expected to take a bullet for both sides. "But this world has changed and I have changed. And I would take jail time over a bullet or an endorsement for what I believe to be disaster to this country and the strong and amazing women and minorities who reside here. Hatch Act be damned. I am with Her."

Secret Service employees are among those federal employees subject to enhanced Hatch Act restrictions, including these two rules:

► May not post a comment to a blog or a social media site that advocates for or against a partisan political party, candidate for partisan political office, or partisan political group.

► May not use any email account or social media to distribute, send or forward content that advocates for or against a partisan political party, candidate for partisan political office, or partisan political group.

The Freedom Of Information Act take on Clinton's private email server should have been covered much more extensively. That is why she had that PRIVATE server, to keep everyone out including the FOIA. Wikileaks took care of that.

While it's difficult to predict exactly how the appeals court's decision will affect the ongoing Clinton-related FOIA litigation, the ruling seems likely to bolster efforts by conservative groups to press for more answers from Clinton, her aides and the State Department about how her private server system was set up, why it wasn't searched in response to FOIA requests and how Clinton's lawyers determined that about 32,000 messages in her account were purely personal.

Clinton had that set of messages erased at about the same time she turned over to the State Department about 30,000 messages her team deemed work-related. The FBI recovered some of the deleted messages during its investigation and the new D.C. Circuit ruling could make it more likely some of those messages will eventually be made public.

It might surprise you, but O'Reilly's actually done some great work over the years. While he's steadfast in his views, he has given some excellent interviews(his interview with Marilyn Manson being one of the best I've ever seen the performer give). I've also seen Bill argue and make counterpoints to people on his program that I know he agrees with. And he has a determined pro-education stance which has led him to write multiple history books, likely stemming from his background as a teacher.

Now he is by no means perfect. His response to the sexual harrassment claims against Roger Ailes has been troubling at best. But he's not just another alt-right mouthpiece the way he is portrayed(or the way some on his network, such as Sean Hannity, appear to be). I think you do yourself a disservice to immediately discount him, even if you disagree with his views.
