If you want to play the originals on the Super Nintendo there's a menu patch for Wizardry I-II-III. That said, it was a download-only game so you would need a repro or something.

A shame since it's the best version of those games as far as I know.

Just got Gau and am headed to South Figaro in FFVI. Double Mithril Claw + Gengi Glove = OP
Final Fantasy IX is the best one

Isnt it light saber, knife that ignores defense, genji glove, offering?

That's one possibility. I was also a fan of light saber/Ragnarok or Illumina, because there was a chance that flare or pearl would proc on each of its four hits. I literally got in 12 max damage hits with it once. Nothing in the game can survive that.

Thats right, I forgot about the pearl casting sword. So its been a few years, after Paper Mario and Zelda I should probably run through FF6 again. Its been a few years.

Try out the GBA port if you can. The additional dungeons make for a nice new challenge once you are done with the game proper.
