Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Wire hiding.

Post by Unleaded Logic »

Any one have any solutions for organizing or hiding wires? I had to pick up a new shelf for my consoles and it has no place where you can hide wires. I've seen that tubing stuff you can get (Whats the best place for that?) Do you do anything special with your wires to organize them?

You can get wire loom in various sizes at automotive parts stores, and even walmart, to run multiple wires together. Combine those with tie-wrap anchors to zip-tie to, and you should be looking spiffy in no time.

Ok. . . the idea of cable ties is to clean up and conceal. . . so why the hell would I want them in glow in the dark colors?

Here's what I use. If you have a drill it's under $10 at a hardware store.

hole saw drill attachment

velcro or plastic cable ties cut to length (depending if you make changes often)

Could be that you're just going for cleaning up the cables, but not trying to hide (for a variety of reasons).
