I also hope the rumour that Zelda will be a launch title in America and Japan, but not Europe, isn't true. If it is, it's fucking stupid.
Best way to not be underwhelmed is to not read the leaks and spoilers. It is tough sometimes but you just have to go radio silent in that department.

Everyone should speak English and if they can't, they should learn it.

I'll tell you why it's stupid though, being serious. I have visited France, Spain and other European countries. I have friends in and from Germany, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria, The Netherlands, France and god knows where else. Everyone in Europe speaks and understands English to a certain extent. Even those that don't will still persevere through the language barrier. If the Switch really will be region free, we will just import Zelda and then the sales will be rubbish in Europe when it finally is released.

True, but even so, I hope we see more than the expected Nintendo releases. As a Wii U owner, souped up ports of Splatoon, Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros etc., whilst nice, are hardly going to set my world alight. Even the new 3D Mario is to be expected. It would be nice to be blown away. Like, I don't know, a new Metroid (one that looks awesome - maybe a new Metroid Prime), Eternal Darkness 2, a new F Zero, new exciting exclusives, new IPs, multiplatform blockbusters etc.

I'm not expecting much beyond what we already know. I suspect there won't be a whole lot of tech talk. I do hope there's some surprise titles announced, though.

While I'm dreaming, I'll take a new Metroid, a new Mario at launch, and for Exhuminator, a new F-Zero.

I actually hope some of the best Android/iOS games make the jump. I'd love to see Romancing SaGa 2 ported over, for example. And stuff like Chaos Rings would be good, too. Oh, and S-E can go ahead and port over I Am Setsuna, just because.

Good or bad my body is ready for the Switch event. I'm sitting in the Project Cafe hoping for a glorious Revolution to come riding in on a Dolphin and steal everyone's hearts. Here's to hoping Nintendo!

Couldn't tell you other than it became a habit in college and stuck. I get anything over 8 I get a headache. If I can get upwards of 7-8 once a week (or two at worst) and I'm good. My usual hours during the week are down at 1 to 1:30am and up at 6.

On topic though I don't expect a whole lot to be totally mind blowing as they've been intentionally or not a dripping sieve of information for months now. They also are uptight of never going into specs on anything much at all unlike others in the past who lay out what the guts are to wow those who care. It just will come down to not what they show of their hand, but what the third parties are being honest about doing in their support. Nintendo supporting Nintendo first has been there since day one so it's just expected.

The surprise would be they dust off a franchise that got the screws for the WiiU if not the Wii as well, perhaps longer. Fans have been wanting a return of F-Zero since the Cube, Metroid since the Wii, Kid Icarcus (console side) since the NES (and with 3DS is viable) and then there are others including Custom Robo, Chibi Robo, and ...Wars to name three (and the Wars series is perfect for a touch panel.)

Nintendo hasn't been ignoring franchises. they have simply been developing franchises that have proven sales. I amean sorry to say that f-zero just does not sell. We have had this conversation before.

Also to note chibi-robot had a new game just last year, so I don't see how they are ignoring the franchise.

No one is getting the screws put to them. There hasn't been a huge amount of information leaked. System specs are common and there a bajillion questions still up in the air.

Honestly about the only game I'm interested on the Wii U right now is Breath of the Wild and that game honestly looks like it has the potential to be shit :P. Wasn't exactly wooed by the sand box game play from the last few appearances. Honestly I'm more looking forward to the inevitable Skyward Sword port. We have had 3 ports of Twilight Princess in 3 generations so you know Skyward Sword is next although it would be funny to see Nintendy make it 4/4 with TWP  .

Unless they really blow my socks off with the launch titles I don't think I'm going to pick this up for a few years kind of like how I just now picked up a Wii U and only because I found it for $160. I have the feeling that it's just going to be a shitload of Wii U ports with maybe a few older third party game ports which would really suck and would honestly feel like a worse launch line up then the Wii U. Plus you don't even have the backwards compatibility to fall back on this time :P.
