Last year I played those Phantasy Star II Text Adventures while I had hand, foot, and mouth disease and now I can't disassociate one from the other. You're better off sitting on the couch and watching ten Forensic Files episodes back-to-back.
Dude yeah haha, I had mono when I played Donkey Kong 64... just thinking of the game makes me nauseous and not feel right.

Aaaaactually... some of my best gaming experiences have been while sick. It helps me take my mind off of being miserable. Weird, I know.

I've also had some of my most poignant game experiences when others have been sick. When my Mom was really ill and I had to stay with her, I remember playing through Atelier Iris to distract myself from the worrying. I used to worry so much. I still do, but I've gotten a better handle on it as I've gotten older.

Alright, I wrapped up Dragon Quest Heroes about an hour ago. Tomorrow night I start the TGCD release of Ys 1 and 2.

Xanadu Next
Phew. Made it to the final dungeon (Strangerock).* Here's hoping it's not too insane. Xanadu Labyrinth was pretty tough and the Time Crevice was just a pain in the ass.

*Other than the optional post-game endless dungeon, but that doesn't really count.

Kind of laughing wondering if I would like Xanadu instead of Y's. These Xanadu games look epic.

Xanadu Next is definitely different from the modern Ys games in some significant ways. I'll probably do a decent review and talk about those things.
