Wii mod chips

Post by RCBH928 »

hello

I got a couple of questions about wii mod chips , i hope some of you can answer me

first
Does any one know the name of the new mod chip that you do not have to solder , you just run a wire out of the wii and connect it like a USB thing. When is it comming, and does it really work?

second,
suppose I install a chip, can I uninstall it specially that they are soldered ?

I am worried if motionplus gets out it needs firmware update that will ruin the system once it finds the mod-chips(or the twilight hack)...

btw...WHEN is the motion plus comming out?

This is what you're looking for. Works on Wii Key (I'm not sure about the Wii Key 2, though) and many other Wii Mod Chips.

Edit:
I am worried if motionplus gets out it needs firmware update that will ruin the system once it finds the mod-chips(or the twilight hack)...
Most mod chips can be updated to circumvent firmware updates.

Are you thinking of the flatmii device? I recall seeing news on it over at http://www.wiinewz.com
