Yeah, kinda sucks you only get one version on PS2 and then another on Vita. Atlus hates us.

I actually do have the PS2 version... but I've heard from some fans that the Vita Gold edition adds a ton of good new stuff to it. It's so popular too and with all these weird spinoffs, seems like it would be easy money if they ported it over to the PS3/PS4 or something.

I played the PS2 version. Still a highly enjoyable game, but yeah, they did add a good chunk of stuff in Golden that is canon. Too bad I don't have a Vita/PSTV.

First batch of christmas sale imports + Valkyria arrived today.



I would have prefered to have the launch versions with cardboardbox + goodies but these versions were lot cheaper. If they hadn't been i would have skipped Devil Survivor 2 and Legend of Legacy. I do own the original version of DS2 but i never got around playing it so might as well eventually play the superior version. LOL hasn't been well recieved but i'm willing to give a shot. It was only like 18 euros.

Valkyria i have tried to complete twice and failed but maybe now with all the DLC and trophies i finally make it to the end. The box also looked cool enough to me to want to own it and the price was good.

Had a $25 off and B2G1 coupon I needed to use up so I hit a few gamestops on my way to watch Passengers today. Wasn't sure what I was going to blow the $25 off coupon on since it was restricted to a single preowned item but luckily I found a CIB copy of Bayonetta 2 w/ the Bayonetta bonus disc so I snagged that for $22.49 . Also got my 3 used copies of Legend of Dragoon in today from the gamestop retro sale sadly they were all loose at least one was a black label copy though.

Dawwwwwg, that Bayonetta 2 release with Bayo 1 packed in is super rare now. They seriously let that slip through? It was going for $90+ online months ago.

Gamestop knows about it that's why there are two separate listings/prices for it. Would have been $44.49 without the $25 off coupon i had .

Edit: Seems like gamestop must have shipped some more used copies of it out which stablized the used market down to around $50. There are still 16 stores within 100 miles with it although each probably only has 1-2 copies. This was the last one within 30 miles of me though. Figured I might as well grab it while I had the chance though since it's been hard to find recently.

I fear in general I better start scooping up all the Wii U games I want this year haha. I've always said it in the Wii U thread, but I think it will be the second coming of the Saturn for the US market.

The way I feel is now is the time to grab Wii U / Vita stuff. Their sections are only getting smaller and smaller in retail stores .

I've been wondering about that. Should I start scooping up Wii U stuff now, or wait until like April or May when the Switch has launched?
