I failed to remember R2R having the audio problem, thought it was the no boot issue. Oops, not a deal breaker it's random and it still plays fine. Hydro Thunder I've yet to snap up but Hot New was the only way I'd buy that one because I did have a junk disc of it back in 99.

MDK2 has a lot of cool extra items if you put it in a computer.

Nice finally having tested all those Dc games out. Now to take some time and get serious with it and have fun like it's 99-02~ all over again. With the Switch a maybe, nothing on PS4 looking good for my interests, and the computer being about it...all I've got left is the old.

Dreamcast goodies, my handheld games if I get some (or what's there), the little portable famicom I picked up, Genesis I can dust off, Banjo Kazooie I got the other day, and whatever else old on the shelf. Finally getting my gaming burden down, just need to motivate up on this.

I'm waiting for the naki vga box I bought to come in and see how good vga does. Then I plan on scart, scart to hdmi convertor for my saturn. Maybe check out those hd cables for my genny whenever they get more in. My setup right now is a crt in an armoire with a 55 hd tv on top. That shits too high for my liking so I'm trying to get rid of the crt and get these 3 systems I play the most to look decent on a modern tv.

I'm waffling on doing the HDMI (VGA) setup.

But there is a concern maybe it would clear up??

I hit a problem days ago when I fired up Deep Fighter, and then a few days after with Rayman 2. The DC seems to share a problem that the N64 and other 1st gen 3D systems had on a non-CRT...some games appear to maybe use the CRT gun to do some lighting tweaks. I had the games get so damned dark I couldn't see almost anything on screen. Rayman 2 has a luminosity slider I maxed which helped a good bit, but Deep Fighter was worse than trying to do DOOM64 and night/land based missions in Rogue Squadron on most LCDs (unviewable.)

Would a VGA/HDMI setup get around this crap since it sends the signal another way?

I can't comment on Deep Fighter, but I can't remember having a problem with Rayman 2 on any non-CRT TVs I've had :?:

Yeah, I can't either, although I never did go very far into Rayman 2. I don't know why I always lost steam in that game.
