I was going to start this tonight, but Persona 4 Arena dragged out longer than expected and I got tired. First thing in the morning, though, this game gets started! Then I mourn the end of my Christmas break.

Just in case you didn't know, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax continues the story as a proper sequel. If you're hungry for more.

Has anyone here played the NES version of Wizardry and Wizardry II, and if so, what was your impression? Once I finish my NES playthrough of Dragon Quest 3 those will be the only two NES games I have still unbeaten.

The pacing of Chrono Trigger is amazing. I've visited a fair, met two waifus, traveled back to the dark ages, uncovered a kidnapping plot, escaped from prison, battled a malicious robot, hacked some computers, and now I'm in the distant future about the raid the sewers... And there's only three hours on the clock.

(btw am I the only one who hits the sewers as soon as the opportunity presents itself? I love that area of the game. The music is so..... sneaky.)

Isn't that when you first go to the future and there's 2-3 areas you can go? Yeah I love the sewers.

You can explore a bit, but ultimately have to take a linear path.

I'm playing this game with my old "straight from the pros at Nintendo" strategy guide on the futon next to me. Love this shit.

It's true. You can't get the Gutsy Bat from the Krakens in Magicant; you get it from the Bionic Krakens in the Cave to the Past.

Dark Souls 3.

Played four hours of it yesterday. Don't really have much to say about it so far. The beginning isn't particularly strong but it's not like i have anything bad to say about it either.
