I got a question. My dreamcast plays fine and all but the top she'll has really bad scuffs and marks when I got it. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement shell?
Been thinking of just getting a dreamcast online that doesn't work and buying off of like eBay or something
How is your Dreamcast gaming going on?

No I just need a regular dreamcast shell no those colored ones.
My friend had one like that with four smoke controllers. He still can't find it

Can you post a pic of the damage, Maybe a great cleaning and fill in the scratches with a matching color putty made for plastics?
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

Ok, update lol. When you switch between the genesis and the dreamcast versions in the menu, the difference is night and day. The dreamcast version has beautiful "water color-looking" backgrounds, while the genesis version is blocky pixelation goodness. Great for it's time, but they knocked it outa the park with the remake. Thanks for shining light on that option.Reprise wrote:The Dreamcast version of Pier Solar is the HD remastered version that was also released on PSN, Xbox, Wii U, Android, iOS etc (just in 480p instead of 1080p for obvious reasons). It's a complete graphical overhaul, with widescreen 16:9 support, improved music/sound and a few gameplay tweaks here and there.
You can switch between the Genesis and Remastered graphics and sound options in the menu.

Can't you somehow replace the laser in them? I'd think you could...

Time to look into GDemu?
Re: How is your Dreamcast gaming going on?
Can you replace it with any laser/lense or does it have to be Dreamcast specific, because that sure will be rare. You might as well buy a used one.darsparx wrote:Can't you somehow replace the laser in them? I'd think you could...
