You're probably right, but as in every circle there are always poseurs. He very well could have all that stuff (maybe got it from a friend) and just likes to brag about his games rather than actually care what he has.

Remember that guy on YouTube with that massive collection for no apparent reason other than to brag about having it? He could be someone like that.
