Re: The Comic Book Thread
you guys are cray.
I can't even keep this thread updated w/ all the stuff I've been reading lately. I've been hitting the comic shop weekly for months now. This week alone I read:
Avengers #2
Batman #1
Extraordinary X-Men #13
Infamous Iron Man #1
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #62
Uncanny Avengers #15

Yup. It's a 6 issue mini series, written by Tom Taylor (Injustice: Gods Among us, Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight etc.).noiseredux wrote:what the? I had no idea about that. Huh. Interesting.

Do you have a pull list at your local comic shop?
I admit that I just borrow GNs from the library. Individual issues are too fiddly to deal with.

Re: The Comic Book Thread
nope. I don't know - takes away some of the fun for me. And the thing is, I'm often picking up #1's or checking out new series but not necessarily sticking with them. Likewise, there are some series that I'm actively reading but not caught up with to current issues.marurun wrote:Do you have a pull list at your local comic shop?
Basically I have a list on my phone of series I'm reading to some degree, and which issue I'm on. And then each week I also go thru new releases to make a list of the new stuff I want. Depending how much new stuff is out, I'll augment with some older stuff I'm catching up on.
It works well, and is fun for me to just 'browse' for a half hour or whatever once a week.
