Well that moment was certainly shocking if nothing else. I agree with the too long, I've still not finished it yet. I think I have 3 episodes.

I also haven't finished it. It's weird. I like the show. But it just doesn't seem to suck me in like the "I HAVE to see what happens next!"-ness of Dare Devil and Jessica Jones.

I was annoyed they seem to have completely blown up the relationship between Cage and Jessica. I liked those two together.

Where I couldn't get into Jessica Jones at all (felt like it was "trying too hard" the whole time), I didn't have a problem getting into Luke Cage. I had some initial misgivings, but it gave way to an excellent show overall.

Still prefer Daredevil, though.

Interesting. My wife and I basically binge-watched Jessica Jones, and we worked our way through Luke Cage at a steady clip. We really had to push to get through Daredevil, though. (I think it is because, despite the excellent villain, the main character is so boring. Also, the law practice at the center of the drama is laughably unrealistic.) I have read that the second season is much better, but my wife is going to take some convincing if I am going to dig into it anytime soon.

The second season has a lot less of the law practice, so it won't make you wince every episode like the first season probably did.

I wonder if it's to fit into the comics stuff. Did Bendis write the Luke Cage show?

Second season was worse IMO. There was a lot of focus on a certain new character who I found very annoying and the whole plot surrounding that character was awful.

The one saving grace of season two though was Punisher, who is getting his own, well deserved Netflix series. He was the highlight of Daredevil's second season.

Daredevil hit the sophomore slump for me personally

Planet Earth II, the most recent release with the legendary Attenborough. I've always been a huge fan of nature documentaries, and this stuff is mostly excellent. A little dumbed down at times, but the photography is still top tier.
