Who just caught a Ditto!? This guy did! So after class I have a nice driving route that passes by a bevy of gyms that are always in turmoil. I will always find at least 1 or 2 gyms with an open spot or prime for being taken over that I hit up for a quick cash in on coins. Nothing here is available for long term collection so I have to take what I can get!

Same here I keep going after the birds and stuff that should have them and intentionally not ignoring the higher level 300+ stuff I usually would and nothing as of yet.

Recent developments from today:
- Niantic fixed a bug with the new tracker system (server-side). From their Facebook:
Trainers, there was an unintended bug which limited Pokémon from appearing in the recently expanded Nearby Pokémon feature. This primarily affected users in rural areas and has now been fixed.
- The old prestige system on training friendly gyms has returned. This is great news with the CP increases, because it will be much easier to select Pokémon with half the defender's CP and get up to 1000 for each defeated! Attacking rival gyms is still -1000 per defeated Pokémon.
- Rumors abound of Gen 2 coming as early as next week. Stay tuned!

So yesterday I was out in the morning, and all in the same mall within a 30min period I ended up with 3 Ditto. The best had a decent rating but ended up with excellent or wow on something, had a CP of like 421~. I got another in the lower 200s I kept as it was rated as nice or a hair nicer, then one with like 10cp I candied out.

Two days ago I got kicked out of that snug public library gym. I had slipped to 9th position, so not surprised. Went by today and it was lvl 9, so I pushed it back up to 10 and installed my 2400 cp Vaporeon, and now I hold the top spot.

Right now, I'm still in 6 gyms, 5 of them Level 10, but 2 of them I'm at the very bottom at, and one I'm 9th at.
But before that, I got another record yesterday.
I'll get to hopefully 7 or 8 again tomorrow. But I had more fun at the beach today. New evolution!
WHY U NO HAVE BLIZZARD? The hunt for a strong Ice type continues, but I always need more Hydro Pump.

Pretty decent lunch time walk today - I managed to catch 1 Omanyte, 1 Oddish and 6 Kabuto, all of which I needed candies for to evolve other guys. Not quite at the totals yet, but it's something.
I now only need 1 more Oddish to finally mark Vileplume off my list to get. Of course, Bellossom might be added soon, and I'll have to start the process all over again
I found the park down the road from my work has had it's pokémon nests replaced - it used to be full of Horsea, but now it seems to have a variety of stuff spawning - I found lots of Kabuto, alongside a serious number of Krabby and Paras too. I caught 6 Kabuto for 24 extra candies total - bringing me up to a total of 31. I plan to head back tomorrow and try and get 5 more - then I can tick Kabutops off my list too!
Omanyte I'm now up to a mighty 15 candies, so still a way to go yet...
I also hatched a Porygon today, so now I have 4 of them. That's 22 candies, so if Porygon2 requires 50 I'm making some nice progress on that.
I also caught a few at the weekend - my second Grimer, another Squirtle and Oddish and 2 Abras - all stuff I needed, so I've had some lucky finds lately.
Here's what I still need and my progress:
