I always wanted a briefcase unit, but never found one at a price I was willing to pay. Breetai hooked me up with a coregrafx many years ago, but it just lives in its box for now, the TG16 is hooked up with Military Madness slotted in.

A briefcase and Core look pretty snazzy together, but the CD unit in those briefcase attachments has issues with a key gear getting brittle and breaking.

The actual CD drive is the same as the US one, though, so you can make an ugly, multicolored Frankenstein with a white briefcase IFU, gray CoreGrafx, and black US CD drive.

I hate to put an oddball solution out there, but it is the very cheapest. You have a GBA right? $99 for its everdrive + PCE Advance + ROMs and more.

PCE Advance is a strong emulator for the GBA that can handle all those fun HuCards from whatever region (not sure about the few SuperGrafix), and it also will run TG/PCE CDROM games too in a BIN/CUE(ISO) format. I used to play Dracula X, Ys Book1+2, Gate of Thunder CD and a few others on the go.

Just throw a few dozen ISOs and HuCards on a micro SD card and you're good to go. Play it on the go, or throw it into a GB Player and do it on the TV like it was meant to be. It's fast, easy, and removes all those inane high prices the games go from torching your wallet.

Agreed one of the few games from that genre I don't hate which I could count on one hands fingers. True fun story, in Japan, Hudson released a Win9X port of the HuCard release of the game and it was free as well. I used to have it, it ran for years, but the dumb thing has I think a 16bit installer on it so 64bit OS's will not touch it at all which is a shame.

Did you know there is a pretty cool port of it for the PS1?

its better on the Xbox 360 and Ps3 since it is in 720p though and seems that a few multiplayer maps were removed from the wii version
