No ditto here, I stocked up going around the mall a bit as I was down to like 40 balls before that. I went on a pidgey or whatever rampage for some evolves but mostly just cashing out evolution on birds. I got probably 60-70K down through Lv24.
I did end up finding a few gyms to pop up into and re-popped into one. I made 40 coin over the period, just bought my first bag expansion to 400 slots. And it only took that many months.
Shame there's no idea how to tell if ditto is a thing, even say from a CP level battling something.

I found ditto by catching a Rattata. Pretty sure there was nothing to indicate it was anything but a normal Rattata.

Anyone catch that story out in the last day or two about the december update? Claims abound about adding +100 pokemon. Mew and Mewtwo being catchable, other legendaries. Also finally trading of pokemon.

There are over 800 pokémon now. If they don't increase the rate they release them then it'll never be possible to "catch 'em all".

I wish they'd increase the diversity of them far more. They said they did, and just a few more showed up in various areas a bit, but outside of a few random oddball irregular popups it's still pretty garbage. Yes I'm not near a desert or hot place, but all these months since release I've seen 3-4 Charmander total in the wild, 1 Grimer, 1 magnemite, a half dozen slowbro, etc.

Had a pretty swell weekend.
Fluffball was kicked out from the far off church gym (this is going to be a weekly thing now, isn't it?), so I had to head back out there and throw him back in. Luckily Mystic had already swooped back in to reclaim and only had one spot filled, so I didn't have to spend any time training it up to deposit Fluffball back where he belongs. So 60 more coins for me today.
Caught two Ditto within 5 minutes of each other when I went out for a walk on Friday.
They both have 'meh' stats, but at least that's one less Pokemon to add to the Dex. Both were disguised as Rattata in case anyone is wondering.
I also purchased a Lucky Egg this weekend to take advantage of the extra-EXTRA experience points. After about 55 evolutions I am now up to level 27.
I went from around 174,000 out of 200,000 to over 81,000 out of 250,000. That's a pretty fine leap, me thinks.
No new evolutions, but of the included evolutions are a new Vileplume, Victreebel and Exeggutor (finally!) with Solar Beam and a new Golduck, Poliwrath, Seadra and Starmie with Hydro Pump. I also have a new, more powerful Machamp who, thanks to the new CP tinkering, may actually be worth using.
I also have a new Kingler with X-scissor. WTF.
Oh, and I saw an amusing username I thought I'd share while wondering about this weekend...
I don't know if that means they've got 3 accounts or what, but it made me giggle

DontTouchMyGym -- of course that's from Team Valor! Just like the "100CoinsADay" name I saw a few weeks back.
Rattata seems to be the best place to get a Ditto, plus as previously mentioned, you don't know until you see the "Oh?" after the capture animation. If it says Gotcha, then you don't have it.
As fast as I got 8 gyms today, the church I re-took yesterday fell once again. But I have a feeling Valor will have it again soon.....
I also got a new medal today for 2000 Pokémon caught.

I snapped up another gym at a bass pro today waiting for santa a couple hours ago. Also with some added catches and the fact the bonus is still in effect(thought it ended) I'm like 4500xp off Lv25 now so it has been basically 100K period for me. Had I an egg stash I could have doubled that.
