I forget, can you listen to the original Halo soundtrack in Halo Anniversary? I recall them re-arranging the OST a bit and it wasn't as good to me. You can change the graphics on the fly, but can't remember about the music...

They have a bunch of "If [blank] were honest" videos, all the same kind of true and funny.

The Retropie is the greatest thing ever.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I either need to start being more discerning when I buy games, or be more honest when I just need to chunk it. There's fewer and fewer games that I actively wish to keep after finishing, although I do have good taste at that point. I'm also quicker to note when I think two games of a similar type (say God of War vs Castlevania Lords of Shadow) and I pick which one is better and stick with it.

Plus, I need to be honest that every little niche or unheard of game isn't worth trying or worth seeking out. Especially with some of the retro stuff, its aggravating to do all that digging and find out that super rare, expensive game just isn't fun.(*cough*Earthbound*cough*)

EDIT: Annnd, I just bought a PS4 online. Slim, specifically. I figure that'll do me just fine, and if worse comes to worse and for some reason I need it, I can buy a Pro when I'm out of school and actually have a steady job.

So get this... There's a brand new PS3 game on eBay for $22.99 BIN/OBO with free shipping. The seller has below 100 feedback, and a couple of negatives. I decide to give him a shot anyway, and send a best offer of $20 flat.

The seller declines my offer, no counter offer or message, just hits the decline button. I find that to be so rude, and very frustrating. As a seller, this is just bad form. Split the difference with me and counter offer $21.50. If you can't accept $21.50 instead of $22.99, then you really shouldn't have the best offer option there in the first place! Declining the offer all together is saying you don't wish to accept anything between $20 and $22.98 for it. Thanks for wasting my time, putting a best offer option on there when you never intended to use it.

So I found another brand new copy of the game on eBay. It was $3 more, but I bought it anyway because of the principle.

See but that seems common now a days....these people set it up and have a "best offer" but apparently don't mean to set it up to have one. It's very strange since I've had it happen plenty of times....

For that range, it seems odd to just decline it - could be a matter of scale though. My only real experience with it was with cars, and with that you largely had people offering far less than would be realistic, which I'd just decline with no comment as well (if they were actually within a reasonable range I'd forward things on to actual sales). So it's possible that they're just used to people offering $5 or something, and didn't look carefully.

I went ahead and got a refund on Steam for Dishonored 2, and it went through (even though it had been over 14 days). I basically bought the GTX 1060 this year for Mankind Divided and Dishonored 2 alone, so... quite irked to say the least. The 1.2 patch took awhile to come out after release, like 12 days or something. And it did nothing for me and many others, made it even worse for some people. Unacceptable and it's just too easy to tell that the game itself is a complete mess, it's going to take more than a few little patches. I waited it out almost for a month and that was enough for me. Guess I'll play it down the road with a sale and hope it actually works.
