There are so many copies on ebay, all sealed (and at huge prices) that it seems many people bought the games solely to resell them.

Nothing new of course, and I'm not knocking these folks, but it makes me kinda sad when there's seemingly more enthusiasm for selling a thing than enjoying it for what it is.

It also makes me feel like a dipshit because I still want them, even at those resale prices.
*checks ebay...*

Holy S*%#! Even the soundtrack is going for over $40. What the hell? Well, at least I don't feel so bad about paying the shipping prices now, but damn :?

Don't pay those prices, CFFJR. I...I don't think it's worth it.

You know what, scratch that. It's not worth it. Don't do that to yourself.

Dear god, holy hell, why do I even look at ebay...

To find (and check prices on) awesome, super-rare PS1 jewel case variants, of course!

Ever since I picked up a rare Rayman (PS1) variant a few weeks ago, I have been into collecting those, and while I missed out on a black-label, jewel case copy of Warhawk, I picked up rare Destruction Derby, Loaded, and Total Eclipse Turbo variants. (The King's Field and Tekken variants sell for a bit more than I care to pay, however, and some of these variants are insanely expensive.)

I see game stores and resellers pricing some of these variants like their less expensive counterparts - that's how I got my copy of Rayman! - and my latest research should help me better identify good deals.

And then you have this idiot: http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-Game-Playsta ... 2167231782

Sorry but if the games need repair in order to work that doesn't exactly justify the price... >_>

It has been 10 days since Dishonored 2 released.

Still no patches on PC.

Thanks Bethesda.

How broken is it? Think Fallout New Vegas was the most broken game at launch I've ever played so I always give Bethesda stuff a few weeks unless I get a really good preorder deal.

It's not terribly broken. Some occasional slowdown. The system requirements are high, though.

Only 58% good reviews on Steam currently.

Most people reporting in including myself have great rigs and current cards (played Mankind Divided fine on High settings, and now playing the Witcher 3, why can't I handle this?). Even on low settings, the weird blurryness and framerate made me want to barf. And I can still handle the old 30 FPS if necessary, but this was all kinds of messed up and just not right.

Then there's some serious audio issues. Audio stutter that seems to cut in whenever characters or NPC's are talking to me. The audio completely cuts out, both music/dialogue, then the dialogue lags in after awhile but never runs correctly with the subtitles. I almost feel like this is an even worse issue to me, made it unplayable.

So basically unplayable.

The thing is... Arkane developed this and the original Dishonored is probably one of the best optimized games I've played. It runs like absolute pure perfect gold butter. But I guess this new Void Engine they made has some serious issues... what is even more disturbing is that the base of the engine is idTech 5 (Rage, Wolfenstein The New Order, etc). Not idTech 6 like Doom 4 this year. It makes sense id gets to showcase and work with their new engine first, but ugh. So frustrating.

I swear I'm going to play some easy and short games once i finish one of these RPGs. I have got to stop torturing myself with long games....I think I just love torture at this point if I keep this up...

Four year old PC with two 670 GTXs in SLI.

The audio issue is utterly bizarre. I had absolutely zero audio issues. As I said, I had some occasional slowdown, usually while looking over a wide open area. So with how I was playing it I didn't really have much in the way of problems that impacted my ability to enjoy it.
