My old game room w/ progress on the new game room
Re: My old game room
glad to see another room with a cat lurking around! really adds a finishing touch.
Re: My old game room
Thanks guys. Yes, it was a lot of work, but a labor of love as is the current one I'm working on. Out grew the old house with the addition of two little ones in the past three years(no one told me about the birds and bee's I guess)so luckily we were able to sell that house and not too much of a loss and get into a bigger one.
If anyone has a thread with their game rooms, I'd love to see them. I spent a good chunk of last night just going through this forum looking at all of them. There are a lot of amazing collections on here. I love getting new ideas that I can incorporate into my space.
and yes, I do plan on outdoing myself...

Love the set up man. The incorporation of sports and the bar is key.
I like the idea of the two smaller CRTs on the side of the main attraction. Maybe I'll do something similar when I'm a homeowner one day.

Strong work. I know a lot of people are lamenting leaving a place like that, but I'm sure the new place will only be better. And there's so much anticipation and fun involved with starting over.
Re: My old game room
Which bubble hockey? Please say it is a Shelti, Super Chexx, or Carrom. Dont tell me it is a Daytona.
Re: My old game room

Re: My old game room
This might be my favorite room of all the ones I've seen posted here. It's simple. Yet effective. Not over-done. But it features SF2 and Galaga cabs. And a bar. Perfect.

Carrom. It's pretty beat up and needs a good cleaning, but I got it off craigslist for 40 bones. I think I'm going to do custom artwork/paint on the side cause I'm just not digging the generic gray shelf paper like sides. It's defiantly not as cool as a Super Chexx, but the price was right...

Re: My old game room
Well the advantage is that it does not cost too much to fix a Carrom. It may not be as cool as a super chexx but your right, $40 is hard to pass.
I am still kicking myself for passing on a Shelti Super five years ago - it was only $300 and still in the shipping boxes...
