The fact that you use the term "libtard" seriously tells me you were never interested is listening to the views of others. You have painted with a broad brush far more than almost any of the rest of us. I will not waste any more of my mental energy trying to give you the benefit of the doubt that you clearly aren't interested in anyway. Troll on, if you like. I'll not waste any more time on your posts. It will save me the time trying to parse the run-on-sentence, barely readable posts you produce.

I'm fine with that if you feel that way. I already explained myself and why I chose to use that word within it. I will say I'm sorry your lack of ability to read makes it so very challenging to read a paragraph of text versus a few lines or a sentence at a time broken up by character breaks as that's pretty sad.

I think everyone should just listen to this as Jon Stewart is right, making monoliths of people is a bad idea over the election.

For something different you guys hear about this new overtime thing hitting Dec 1st? Will have an impact on salary workers:

Seems great to me and hopefully a sign of some other improvements to come. 40 hours is enough as is for me (actually too much). Work isn't life. I think we'd see companies crack down on hours first instead of having to pay employees more, the sad truth haha... but it's a win/win to me.

Not really...I suspect this is why my mom's overtime was killed, dad's has been gone forever(they keep finding new ways to make sure for an employee that's getting close to 30 years that he still makes crap), and they only ever allow overtime at HT if it's the holidays(which for me won't happen being PT and injured still). Plus in a place like harris teeter overtime isn't worth it after 45 hours for how worn out you are let alone just 40....

Say we are having a rational discussion and I constantly referred you as fucktard. Would you appreciate that or feel like that would be conducive to having a genuinely intelligent and rational experience? No.

My work decided to up anyone under the gap that is salary to the minimum requirement, and as the article says, by 2020 since an every 3 year bump is required it should project out to 51K at that point.

That is interesting, Hourly employees have been overtime for anything over 40 hours or 8 hour day or 7 day work week. However, Salary employees which are usually in the high paying jobs are locked income no matter how many hours worked a week. Most companies stick to 40 hours or less, but there are times to meet deadlines that over forty hours are needed. Even though Salary employees have that understanding, there are some overtime abuse, the reason for $47,500 cutoff increase in the law change.

Speaking of pay, here in California the $15.00 minimum wage increase passed. Any job from Sales to Construction to Technician to Burger Flipper all have to be paid at least fifteen bucks an hour. Now the starter part time jobs are pushing towards the pay level of a career job! No more pay raise for the good worker vs the crappy worker since companies now have more overhead. Inflation occurs starting the minimum wage cycle anew.

1: Short Term - The workers are happy - except outstanding workers who will get the same pay.

2: Long Term - The workers will become unemployed due to downsizing, outstanding worker will have to cover.

Something I've noticed is that people don't like to acknowledge the fact that if a financial burden is placed upon a business then that burden will either a. be transferred to the customers in the form of higher prices and/or b. made up by cutting the labor force so the wage budget stays the same. There are limits (if prices are too high you don't move enough product, if your labor force is too small you can't get the necessary throughput) that will force an eating into the profits, but it's only when those limits are hit that the profits start being lessened. You're not going to see businesses say "oh, my workers cost more? I guess I'm just going to have to make less money then."

Again, you aren't actually reading what people are saying to you (which is ironic). He complained about your massive run on sentences, which has nothing to do with your disdain for linebreaks. I realize you're constitutionally unable to admit that you're wrong in anything, but you do realize that Forlorn, who is at least 10 years younger than you, is far better at communicating than you are and comes off far more mature.

Watch out popo! Keep dropping truths and he might put you on his ignore list! It is quite nice there. There is a futon and an n64. Could be worse.

The fact that I could get banned really going into what I think at this point over these smug retorts I'm not going to keep this forward as arguing with moderators is suicide. Draw from that however you take it.
