Well, my entire domestic collection has been found in the wild, but some of the gems are:
Tengen Tetris (NES) Complete $30
Vectrex system with 6 games $30
Mega Drive System $25
Final Fantasy II (Famicom) Complete $20
Dragon Quest 3 (Famicom) Complete $15
But the biggest find ever was at a Goodwill store,

Found 3 Atari Prototypes for 99 cents each
Video Game "Look what I found"

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I picked up a near mint copy of Secret of Mana today off Craigslist for $10. The only downside is there are ex-rental stickers on the cart. They should be easy to remove off the solid plastic parts, but there is a security sticker right on top of the back cartridge label. Don't know if I can get it off without damaging it.
Still, a good find.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
You know, I once had an SNES game with the same "Please Be Kind, Rewind" sticker on it. It boggled my mind even back then...
I got this from Craigslist today:
Gamecube w/all cables, 2 controllers (1 is a 3rd party wireless, and looks like crap to me), and 1st party memory card
Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil
Resident Evil 4
Super Smash Bros. Melee (no case or instructions)
The legend of Zelda Collectors Edition
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes
$65 for everything.
I just bought a Gamecube last week, but couldn't pass this one up due to the value of the games. I can't believe people are so willing to get rid of this stuff...
Now, I'd like to ask you guys for some advice. The same guy has this posted on Craigslist, and I'm wondering if it's worth it. http://lafayette.craigslist.org/ele/1080773284.html I've already made two game-related purchases this month, so I'm kind of on the fence about this one.

In this instance, its one of those security things that would of set off an alarm if it left the rental place. I think I'm going to have to leave it just because its on there pretty good. It'll probably rip the back label of the cartridge.
The other stickers came off from just leaving the cartridge in my car all day. Just gotta clean the sticky stuff off.

kind of the point of this thread is to list what an "awesome deal" you got, not just whatever games you picked up. for all we know you could have paid like $30 for a loose cart.

It's ridiculous yes, but I can't tell you how many times I remember hearing my parents, friends parents, and some friends call them "Nintendo tapes".
Used to drive me CRAZY.
Systems: Atari 2600, Atari Jaguar, NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Genesis 3, Genesis 2, 32X, Sega CD (model 2), Saturn (model 1), Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox (Modded), Xbox 360, GameBoy, GBA SP, Game Gear, PSP... always adding more

oh. We should have a thread for stuff we just picked up then. It was a pretty average deal.

actually, I was being sarcastic. Since the thread is called "finds of the day" and not "amazing deal of the day" I didnt realize I was breaking some magic rule.
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
well, pretty much every other poster in this thread has listed the price followed by OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG LOOOOOOOKKKKKKKK. which might tip you off thta it's a "Great deal" thread.
