Advice on TurboDuo price.

Post by Thierry Henry »

For the guys in the know, what would be a fair price to pay for a Turbo Duo system(without box) that's in good condition.(minimal scratches and minor scuff marks but otherwise in very good nick)
I've been offered one for just shy of $200. Is that too high a price?
It includes all the cables and hook-ups, one controller and also the multitap adapter.
That asking price includes shipping as well(via Express Mail) so now bear in mind that I'm in South Africa and so the shipping cost ain't cheap at all.
So, $200-fair price?

If the system works, and is in mint condition, then I would go for it shipped, at that price, especially considering your location.

it depends on if it is a regular turbo-duo or turbo-duo RX and your location.

In europe a Duo RX system without a box goes for 225 euros or about 250 dollars.

With shipping $200 to SA is a fantastic price. Jump on that deal.

I sure did jump on that deal!
I initially showed some hesitancy and the seller thought I was going to bail so he included a CoreGrafx system as well!
I know what you guys are thinking, but everything looks legit, seller has a great rep so I'm confident everything is cool.
Sweet deal indeed!
