This makes me excited to go out tomorrow *crosses fingers for more fire-types*

Heads up!

Special 5 day event 11/7 to 11/11!

We are excited to let you know that the new daily bonus feature is rolling out right now. The daily bonuses reward you with XP and Stardust for your first catch of the day, and XP and extra items for your first Photo Disc spin of the day at a PokéStop. You’ll get an even bigger bonus if you complete these actions seven days in a row!

To celebrate this feature, from November 7th to November 11th, you’ll find more Pokémon out in the world. Moreover, PokéStops will grant more items! Yes — this means more Great Balls, and for Trainers that are level 20 and above — more Ultra Balls!

Take advantage of it while you can and explore your neighborhoods with Pokémon GO!

More Pokémon means my Go Plus is gonna stay green forever. More items at Pokéstops means my Tuesday/Wednesday night hangouts and Thursday afternoon supply runs this week are going to be that much more exciting, seeing as I'm heading out to a new location Saturday for more gym excitement, this will be awesome, although I'm already over 900 items!

Yeah that was definitely happening. Pokemon were everywhere. I have a picture I need to upload of a stop that had roughly 7 or 8 pokemon in one spot.

Definitely unless they have some server drop where it blanks I'm always seeing 9 of them loaded, and if you take one down it fills another in.

I wish the game even was consistently with 1/2 the quantity I see now as the game would be far less boring looking for stuff. I hope they don't set it fully back, but at the least you have the permanent variety switch up.

My newest Lucky Egg evolution record, 61 Pokémon in about 28 minutes. Thank goodness for faster animations!

So that happened, and I went out to try the new gym system. The Level 10 flagpole gym was grief-ed to Level 7 last night so I brought it back to Level 8 (I'm still in there), but it is FAR harder to train now, I only got 1730 for fighting 5 out of the 7, so I had to do it 2.5 times as compared to maybe 1 or 1.5 trips. But it's got an empty slot for church services tonight.

BUT, offensively speaking, it's much easier. I knocked 2 Mystic gyms down to Level 9 and Level 6. Hopefully Valor can step up and help!

For now though, more items!

I finally caught a diglett today on the way home, only had a runner once. Yesterday bagged a 5km egg reward which got me the ability to make meganton so that's 2 ticked off in 2 days.

Great 5km egg for me today, another Growlithe, so I transferred it and took all that candy to power up Arcanine 5 more times, went from 1600s to 1952CP, and already has 15 on DEF and STA, so that's really nice! It's gym-worthy!

Not going to be nice here but fuck Niantic and their pokestop locks. I get trying to discourage people driving from playing, but when you're the passenger in the car (more often than not) it's a slap to the face. I can't keep my pokeball levels healthy anymore unless I make an effort to go seriously out of my way from here to either walk around a mall, or cruise a very old main street location with a 15mph speed limit with like 10 stops in a 1/2 mi area.

I'm debating slacking off playing the game now because I'm not going to be forced into buying supplies so I can have the balls needed to just play the game under non-aggressive average use.

I am sorry that you are so angry about pokemon.

I on the other hand am loving it. Been catching a ton of stuff, taking advantage of the event. Went to a gym today to teain it up to level 8 and get a guy in. Was surprised that my cp 824 bellsprout took down a 1980 cp gyrados one on one.

Also I was catching a standard old pidgey today and was mindlessly throwing it. In mid jump, the ball hit and I scored an excellent catch. This led me to want to ask. Have you had any crazy catches? Any frustrating misses?

I'm not angry about pokemon, I'm angry they'd just punish everyone due to isolated global news stories of dumb people running cars into other cars, trees, poles playing a game. I never like seeing a smaller group causing a larger one to be punished as it's a dodge.

I like the game, but I need to find a way to still enjoy it or let it go because as live works I don't have a steady ability to go out of my way to places to regularly harvest supplies which causes a burden.

Either way congrats on that kill, stunning doing that with a sprout vs a gyardos as that's crazy.
