In this case, I definitely prefer the American version.

Props to KeyGlyph! The latest Dungeon Danceparty mix on her podcast is SO GOOD! I've listened to it like 5 times already.

This guy has been working on a custom keyboard that plays the Genesis YM2612 sound chip. He has a feature that allows him to take a .vgm file and dump all the instrument banks into the synth so he can play the instrument of any classic Genesis song. In this video, he demonstrates this with the Green Hill Zone theme from Sonic the Hedgehog. I would love to have this toy.

(He starts playing with the individual sounds at 3:15 if you want to jump ahead, and he plays the whole song with MIDI at 11:20)

Was going to play ToP and might still but ehh I'm too distracted and it's nice hearing it play in the background. This SFC on R5 sounds awesome, especially with those voices...

Devilish (Bad Omen) is easily one of the most impressive Genesis soundtracks I've stumbled upon recently. Composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto and his crazy custom chip (I think), go figure it's amazing! He also did Gauntlet 4.
