You see a barren landscape, but I see something different. With a little Mode 7 zoom in, I see a tightly interwoven group of amazing people who bramble on through the otherwise empty wasteland of modern culture.

Yes, the magic of Mode 7, a fine retro technology. Lots of great faces in there. And me! Retro is always #1 here! I haven't gotten that far into the new stuff!

I guess the irony is that I don't even know who Thierry Henry is.

Anyone got any Tips & Tricks on midday pick me up ideas? lol. I work really early on Saturday, which kind of eliminates Friday for hanging out. But it can be hard to go out Saturday night sometimes too. Not much of a napper but it gets the job done sometimes.

In my experience, that tends to only be a pick-me-up before the actual sex bit, and then basically a sentence to sleeping the rest of the day afterwards

Was just messing around with the Nvidia Shield Android TV controller and surprisingly found that it has a rumble feature that works in Windows, as well as the touch-pad also being functional.
What I've seen thus far, those two features aren't functional when using it on the Nvidia Shield itself.
If I'm right, then it's interesting that they're building things into the controller that Android doesn't "support".

Or rebranding someone else's innards with their own skin perhaps? +1 on weird. hmm......

New uber-tier of nerdiness found today: Found an old IGN thread discussing who would in in a fight, Sun Wukong (from Journey to the West) or the God Emperor of Man (from Warhammer 40k). They actually had a legitimately convincing argument both ways X3

Offhand, one possibility is that the Shield devices also support game streaming from a PC (particularly if it has an nVidia GPU in it). So perhaps those features are to augment that.

Holy shit, that was the greatest game of baseball I have ever seen. 108 years, and the Chicago Cubs finally win the World Series. Wow.

Yeah that was amazing. I haven't watched baseball since I was a kid, but that was truly exhilarating.
