I've been meaning to give that one more time. Seems cool and graphically amazing. The difference between the first game definitely threw me off originally, lol.

I struggle with the glide mechanics in ActRaiser 2 though, and they are absolutely required for defeating at least one of the bosses. I may go back to it eventually, but my memories of the controls aren't pleasant.

I remember when ActRaiser launched. It was one of those games that looked amazing to me in the pages of Nintendo Power but I could never find it for sale or rent at the local stores. Same situation with Ogre Battle. Never tracked down either game until I was an adult.
I love what I've played of ActRaiser but still haven't buckled down to finish it. I didn't love what I played of the sequel.

You should finish the first! It is worth getting through. The second... I love its visual aesthetics, but it never feels as interesting because they dropped the RTS component.

Oh man, I forgot about the gliding. Well that sums up my gripes with Demon's Crests' weird floaty controls.

Guys, if you haven't heard, Limited Run is doing pre-orders for a special edition physical version of Skullgirls 2nd Encore for both PS4 and a Vita. Pre-orders go on sale in 1 hour and 45 minutes as of this post!
