Yea Im here; been reading Racketboys work for ages now. Just decided to join the board for whatever reason. Whatever = what took me so long.

But right now I am not much of a true gamer anymore. I only really play sports (basketball and import wrestling) titles; so I might get lost in the current gen shuffle with all these games poppin out left to right.

But Im here and All Hail King Booker!

Hi All!

Just found Racketboy's recently while researching saturn stuff. Im a 25 year old biological grad student living up in central Maine. Ive been heavily into gaming since I got a nintendo for christmas in 85. However, I also enjoy playing with AV equipment, immersing myself in gaming culture, and mixing fruity pebbles with lucky charms. Im usually more of a lurker when it comes to forums, but recently ive been feeling the need to spread out my own roots among my people. Its really nice to know that theres gamers out there who care about more than just the next Halo game and can still appreciate the need for 2D games out there. Cheers!!

This place looks great so far. The posting seems to be genuinely higher quality than most, and everyone's knowledge of some of the more obscure classics out there is impressive.

hi guys
nice place you have here

i'm a veteran of various forums but a newbie to gaming forums, mainly because i only recently rediscovered my DC after moving house earlier this year!
have to admit i'm glad i kept it as i gave LOADS of stuff away to the local charity shops & i'm enjoying it more this time round than i did last time!

i had about 20 or so games already but bought another console with 55 games earlier in the year (didn't have most of them either so it was a good deal) but only used it briefly & put it away again
then after moving a few things around the house & getting some new furniture i set up my AV equipment & got the DC out again, SO much better through a decent sound system

well i did a search or 3 on the net & found a few lists of "must have games" & i spent the last couple of months last year seeking them out & buying them & i'm gradually getting round to trying them out.
well it certainly seems i'd been missing out on some gaming pleasure as most of the new games are excellent, some even good enough to be called Awesome!

i've probably still got about 40 games i've never even put in my machine & at a guess i'd say i must have around 90 or so games now! take me a while to complete that lot

even longer as i'm away racing RC most weekends so only have limited time for the DC

anyway enough of my rambling, nice site, very informative so far

later dudes

Adam

Hello!

28 Male; from outside Toronto, ON.

Can't remember how I found this site but I have been lurking for sometime now.
I'm really enjoying the game room articles. Just moved into my first home so I have a
basement almost ready to go. New TV and couch arriving wed. I should take some pics
and grab some advice.

I pretty much like all types of games.
Own a few systems; DC, SS, PS2, PS1, GC, GBA and DS.
