Its about to scare a whole new age of youngins. I watched it when I was 9 and Man this show haunted me until I was 18 and I finally rented it again and watched it by myself in the dark. And now I love it!!!

I just hope its a theatrical release, and it doesn't SUCK!!

FWIW I was taught camera & lighting in film school by the Director of Photography on It. He told me some great stories about the shoot and said that the best part was working with the kids who were a great bunch.

Have you read the book? It's about 100X more scary than the TV mini-series and to answer your question, yes, it looks like Warner Bros. is pushing for a theatrical release.

I dnt really see the point in remaking it. It's a classic as is.

Ditto. Except replace 'classic' with "an alright, nothing spectacular film"

Agreed. I hate to say that I do watch remakes, because I generally watch almost exclusively horror and a lot of new horror films are remakes. But of course, very very few remakes are as good as the films they are remaking. Most of the time a remake is completely pointless, and a failure. Few exceptions.

As much I despised remakes, but I am going to make this an exception because it was a mini-series. I just the movie isn't shIT
