I don't. I figured I didn't want to forget what skills I had picked up over time, so for now I'll start working on the sequel and see where I go from there.Exhuminator wrote:I find it strange you're more interested in playing EotB II than you are Ultima Underworld II.Ack wrote:Well, having figured out how to port my party over from Eye of the Beholder to Eye of the Beholder II, I am now beginning the second portion of the EotB Trilogy.
Prepare for Eye of the Beholder II: Electric Boogaloo!

If you're enjoying EotB then add Lands of Lore to your queue.

I just finished Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II and Demon Stone on Xbox.
I'm playing the original Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance now. While some of the character customisations feel more restrictive, overall the story and sense of adventure seems better than the sequel, which I enjoyed.

Sometimes I'll play Deathlord just for kicks. Discounting those RPGs that are buggy broken messes, I believe this is the hardest one of all time. Harder than Wizardry IV.
Anyway, my party (THE BETA CUCKS) got a boat. Had it stolen by pirates. Subsequently slaughtered by demons. The end.

Definitely something I'm picking up if I ever get a PS4 (or something I'll just import for Vita because me want physical case).Xeogred wrote:Dragon Quest Builders looks freaking cool.
Started up Fire Emblem Conquest proper today. I'm digging where the story is going. I've always preferred the Nohr siblings to the Hoshido ones, as they feel more conflicted and dynamic to me, where the Hoshido siblings, sans Takumi, feel like their obligations and morals are more 2 dimensional. Also, the followers/guardians of the Nohr siblings are just so odd-ball and funny! Harold (whose English name is Arthur, I think) is such a laugh to watch have conversations with anyone X3 . Same goes for Odin and how him and Zero make Leon so uncomfortable XD

Basically what I got from Giant Bomb's podcast and quick look...
- It feels a bit like Zelda in a cool way.
- It's actually very linear and focused, but gives you the freedom of building up the town with all the Minecraft elements. This sounds very cool to me and looks really addicting. I'm not into aimless free roaming stuff, so this seems like a nice counter to that.
- Combat isn't very good but not bad either, just really basic.
- Awesome aesthetics in an awesome 3D Dot Heroes kind of way.
I still need to play some DQ in general haha, but yeah. This game looks really charming and cool.
Kind of like World of Final Fantasy too. I'm going to laugh if that's better than FFXV.

What even IS World of Final Fantasy? O.o
I've seen it on the Japanese eShop, but I have no idea what kind of game it actually is.
Speaking of games that I know nothing about but see a lot, do we know if Monster Hunter Stories is coming out here? If it's not, then the amiibos for it might be some of the first amiibos not to leave Japan, I suppose.

The Final Fantasy spin-offs have been better than the main games for years now dawg.Xeogred wrote: Kind of like World of Final Fantasy too. I'm going to laugh if that's better than FFXV.
Crystal Chronicles and Tactics Advance are superior to all the PS2 stuff. The 4 Heroes of Light absolutely murders that absurd XIII trilogy. I wholeheartedly expect XV to be significantly worse than Explorers and World of Final Fantasy. The spin-offs and remakes are the only things that keep me remotely interested in this series.
