Windows Explorer crashes

For some reason if I go into the directory in which I store all my xvid and divx files (sorted in subdirectories below this folder) explorer just ups and crashes if I am in thumbnail view... well any view except details!

Now I don't mind being in details view, it is my preferred way of sorting through directories. But in MCE I enjoy the thumbnail view and it crashes if I add this folder to it as well!

Has anyone heard of this?

Have you tried removing your xvid/divx codecs and installing some alternatives like FFDShow? WinMCE might be having some kind of conflict due to it's lack of native support of that format.

And yeah, Details View for me, no matter what the situation.
